What This Service Covers

Hair color and chemical services at The Salon Aura cover root touch-ups, full color, partial and full foils, balayage and ombre, toners, glosses, color correction, perms, and a range of conditioning and smoothing treatments. Every chemical service is planned around what your hair can actually handle, which is why conditioning is part of the process rather than an afterthought.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a color appointment take?

It depends on the service. A color retouch takes about 1 hour 30 minutes, and balayage or a color correction about 3 hours. Larger corrections can take more than one visit. Every service's time is listed on the Service Menu.

Will color damage my hair?

Any chemical service carries some risk, which is why conditioning treatments are part of the process and why we're honest about what your hair can handle.

What's the difference between balayage and foils?

Balayage is hand-painted for a softer, more natural grow-out. Foils give more uniform, saturated color. Which one is right depends on the look you want.

Can you fix color I didn't like from somewhere else?

Color correction is on the menu. Bring photos of your current color and what you're hoping for.
